• Wonderful Christmas Eve by our pond. Ice is still rough as we need some colder weather. But the fire is great!

  • Mille feuille. Best holiday dessert. My French Canadian heritage lives on through this. Needs 24 hours to sit and allow the three layers of graham crackers to merge with the fillings/topping. My role is engineering and design.

  • Finished this lion sketch in graphite. I have some interesting pieces planned over the break. Wishing you all the best for the holidays. 🎨

  • Episode 17 of the Drawing Inspiration podcast is now live. Captain Tom and I sat in a truck and talked skateboarding, travel, urban sketching and becoming a better artist. Https://drawinginspiration.fm/17

  • For #wedrawwednesdays I took three suggestions from followers and combined them into one. Frog, turtle and fancy pigeon. 🎨

  • A pencil sketch of a white wolf from a photo I took a few years ago.

  • Recorded a podcast from my truck this morning for the first time. Was able to mount my easel on my steering wheel and we both did a little drawing and painting. More to come when the episode goes live on the 16th.

  • Really kind like sketching with a fountain pen. Did this in about 15-20 mins after I finished the bison. 🎨

  • Bison sketch is complete. 🎨

  • Finished baby yoda 😊 🎨

  • A quick study of a grizzly bear. About two hours work as part of #wedrawwednesdays Drawn with Pentel Graphgear 1000 pencils. 🎨

  • Loving The Mandalorian. In fact, I decided to start work on some baby Yoda fan art. Last time I did fan art was Tom & Jerry 40 years ago. Early stage with more to come. 🎨

  • I have this idea for a large and detailed drawing. However, it could take a year to complete. Need to think carefully about this before considering the project. I will probably do it on the iPad as I suspect people may want it as a print/poster.

  • Finished this green heron graphite sketch this evening. 🎨

  • A quick watercolor. Not super happy with it but on my way to better things. 🎨

  • Such a crazy week. Finally had 30 mins at lunch to start on this green heron in graphite using the Pentel graphgear 1000 .3 mm pencil. 🎨

  • Ink sketch for #wedrawwednesdays

  • It was so much fun having Tiff Arment on the latest episode of The Drawing Inspiration Podcast to talk about becoming an artist, Inktober, #WeDrawWednesdays and dancing pickles. Https://drawinginspiration.fm/15

  • Went back to graphite on this seagull sketch. Think I may do a larger version of this one. I love ink and digital but I missed pencil 🎨

  • Lunch sketch today was this graphite piece based off a photo I took at Bay Bulls, Newfoundland. Going to enjoy finishing the textures on this one #lunchsketch 🎨

  • Playing with watercolor again. May finish this juvenile cardinal just for practice but I think I would change the composition next time 🎨

  • A little ink woodpecker for #wedrawwednesdays 🎨

  • So @smokey I was thinking about your question of the bird type and decided to expand it to a nature journal type entry :-)

  • Hey Android users, I am looking for a markdown editor like Ulysses for Android. Thoughts? I would prefer it use cloud storage (Dropbox).

  • Too busy at work today but was able to fit in a 20 min ink sketch at lunch. 🎨
