    Art vs artist. It’s that time of year again. Here I am with some of my work. It’s so hard to pick favorites.

  • Result of class 3. Painting Ian de Hoog’s (instructor) dog 🎨

  • A little 5” by 7” watercolor study of a dragonfly. Wings are done with a fountain pen and then a light wash. 🎨

  • A chickadee in watercolor from a course today. About an hour on this. So much fun painting with watercolor now. 🎨 🖼

  • I’m back to playing with watercolor. Quick study with thoughts of a larger scene. 🎨

  • Another work in progress shot. Deciding to add some forest floor to the background has taken me down a rabbit hole. Mushroom ink holding up well on this hot press paper.
