I enjoyed Bandersnatch. It was a flashback to a game I built simulating the trench run from Star Wars. It was on a Vic-20. I was so happy for sprites on the C-64. Also, built a decent adventure game. I really wanted a ZX-81 but never had the chance.

I was able to get out for a little drone footage today. Not very creative with the shots as the freezing rain was coming. youtu.be/cYa5-GBVY…

Did this super quick drawing on the iPad for a great kid on Twitter whose brother is going through some tough times. He loves jaguars so I put this together in an hour and shared it with this mom.

Final version of Copper drawn on iPad Pro. Did some tweaks to the image. Thanks for looking.

Finished “Copper”. About 6 hours total. iPad Pro 2018 with Apple Pencil 2 and Procreate. Miss you puppy.

Continuing the piece I was working on in the Apple Store on my 2018 iPad Pro. Blocking in some more colours and fine tuning the fur. Probably under 2 hours left.

My live iPad drawing session went well in the Apple Store. However, a smoke alarm ended it 30 mins early. Quite surprised by all the positive feedback. I will be back for another session in the new year.

Prepping for the Apple Store demo later this week. Think I am going with this dog showing the initial sketch all the way to hair, eyes and highlights. I will also show how to use split screen to work off a reference photo. More accessible than cartoons for most.

Had to get this one out of my head this evening. Winter walk on iPad Pro using Procreate

I was thinking about a scene from a novel I am considering writing. Very quick draw on iPad Pro using Procreate

One more cold night and we are back on the pond. Earliest in years.

I guess I was a few firmware updates behind with my Bose QC 35. Now supports Alexa 😎
-
It’s official! Happy and freaked out all at the same time. Never drawn in public beyond a few school kids. Now I am doing it on Black Friday in an Apple Store!
-
I’ve been asked by my local Apple Store to do a one hour drawing demo with the iPad Pro. Pretty stoked about sharing my work and techniques with others at such a great venue.

First piece on the new iPad and Pencil 2. Loving the 12.9 size. This is Copper. We had to put her down almost two years ago. She was a cute puppy. But, aren’t they all?
-
Love the new 12.9 Pro with Apple Pencil and Keyboard folio. Coupled with the Procreate 4.2, it is wonderful.
