Painted this green heron after spotting one at the pond in Stewart Park in Ithaca. Done in my Etchr A5 hot press sketchbook with QoR watercolors + Pentel waterbrushes. Green herons are rare tool users–they’ll drop bait on the water to catch fish. #sciart #birds
